Zoey Gong - TCM Practitioner, Nutritionist, Chef
With her background in clinical nutrition, professional kitchen, and TCM, Zoey specializes in mostly plant-based Chinese medicinal cuisine and holistic treatments, including Meridian Yoga, Moxibustion, and Accupressure.
Born in Shanghai, China, Zoey started her journey as a healer by healing herself, who once had two breast tumors, constant skin rashes, amenorrhea, and joint pain. Living in New York City since 2015, she now holds a B.S. in nutrition as well as public health from New York University, 200-hr yoga instructor certification, Meridian Yoga Therapy certification, and is currently pursing her registered dietitian credential (R.D.) and her M.S. in Traditional Oriental Medicine at Pacific College of Oriental Medicine.
Passionate about culture, Zoey has travelled to more than 20 countries, incorporating various cultural traditions into her cooking and treatments. In New York City, she is the founder of Table 81 NYC, a dining experience that offers plant-based medicinal dinners. She has done partnership with Two Hands NYC, Good Thanks Café, Great Sanxiang Camelia Oil, Subculture Dining by Russell Jackson, Museum of Chinese in American, Sage Collective, and so on.
With an eye for aesthetics and cultural heritage, Zoey is dedicated to modernize Traditional Chinese Meidicine, making it a relevant and practical lifestyle for all.
