Zoey Gong - TCM Practitioner, Nutritionist, Chef
With her background in clinical nutrition, professional kitchen, and TCM, Zoey specializes in mostly plant-based Chinese medicinal cuisine and holistic food therapy. She is also a meridian yoga teacher, moxibustion practitioner, and artist.
Born in Shanghai, China, Zoey started her journey as a healer by healing herself, who once had two breast tumors, constant skin rashes, amenorrhea, and joint pain. Living in New York City since 2015, she now holds a B.S. in nutrition as well as public health from New York University, 200-hr yoga instructor certification, Meridian Yoga Therapy certification, and is currently pursing her registered dietitian credential (R.D.) and her M.S. in Traditional Oriental Medicine at Pacific College of Oriental Medicine.
Passionate about culture, Zoey has travelled to nearly 30 countries, incorporating various cultural traditions into her cooking and treatments. In New York City, she is the founder of Five Seasons TCM, a brand that focuses on education around TCM nutrition. From online reousrces to local medicinal dining experiences, she has done partnership with Two Hands NYC, Great Sanxiang Camelia Oil, Subculture Dining by Russell Jackson, Museum of Chinese in American, Sage Collective, Wing On Wo & Co, and so on.
With an eye for beauty and cultural heritage, Zoey is dedicated to modernize Traditional Chinese Meidicine, making it a relevant and practical lifestyle for all.
